First, you need to get cooperation from your spouse, even if that cooperation is limited to his agreement not to interfere with your management of the children's eating habits. Have him meet with your pediatrician and discuss the importance of keeping his junk food separate from the children (if it has to be in the house at all).
While this is a challenging environment for maintaining healthy nutrition, you must be firm and provide a healthy role model. Your commitment to this, with or without your spouse's support, will make all the difference in your children's optimum school performance and physical wellbeing.
